Auditions
The DanceWright Project is looking for creative, open-minded, versatile male and female dancers with strong ballet backgrounds. Additional competency in jazz, modern, and hip hop is a plus. Pointe work is highly desirable. Men MUST have partnering experience.
The DanceWright Project is a contemporary dance company with an international pop culture aesthetic and elements of dance theater. Without the hierarchy of soloists or corps delineation, all dancers are considered for principal roles, as well as ensemble work. This environment gives each dancer the opportunity for creative growth and challenge. Our work is youthful, honest, and energetic.
We generally rehearse two weekday evenings per week — currently, Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and Thursday, 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Attendance at rehearsal will depend on your roles and the sections of work being rehearsed. Dancers will be paid on a per performance basis.
